Anti-theft Gear Lock (DA5312)
This compact gear lock is quick and easy to install, with no bulky parts or complicated mechanisms. It fits securely over the gear selector, blocking access to the button — so the vehicle can’t be shifted into gear.
Made from durable cast metal and finished in a high-visibility yellow, it acts as a strong visual and physical deterrent against theft. The interior is lined with soft black flocking to protect your gear lever from scratches. Unlike larger steering wheel or pedal locks, this compact design can be conveniently stored in your glovebox when not in use.
Compatible with both right-hand and left-hand drive models.

Optimill Security Bonnet Hinge Kit (DA8867)
These are CNC machined billets of aluminium 6082-T6. Internally pinned to prevent unwanted removal of the bonnet. Anodised for extra protection and longevity. The set comprises of high security stainless steel fixings which are fixed from underneath the bonnet for added security.
Note - Optimill recommend that no TFR (Traffic Film Remover) solutions found in some cleaning products, should be used on their anodised products.
Optimill Security Rear Door Hinge Kit (DA8866)
Designed with concealed fixings, to prevent access from outside the vehicle. CNC machined from billets of aerospace grade 6082-T6 aluminium. The hinge pins are made of stainless steel which are internally pinned to prevent unwanted removal. The hinges also feature self lubricating graphite bushes to reduce friction and prevent wear.
The superior performance of these hinges means there is no longer a need to use a separate swing away type wheel carrier, although are compatible with most makes, they are also compatible with panoramic glass conversions.

It works on the principle that if a vehicle’s windows and parts are marked using robust techniques and details are recorded on a secure database - supported by a 24/7 verification service - criminals stealing the vehicle will run a real risk of being caught and prosecuted.
Each mark applied to a vehicle will contain a unique 8-digit code, the ISR logo and www.isrcodecheck.com

X-Column Lock Protector (DA9013)
It stays permanently fitted to the vehicle providing 24 hour protection and deterrent value.
One thing that is common to virtually all stolen Land Rovers is that the column steering lock has been broken. It is normally broken by removing the lock barrel as this is surprisingly quick - the vehicle can then often be started with a screwdriver.
This neat solution is a sleeve for the lock barrel assembly machined out of steel. It is strong enough to prevent the barrel being removed or the end broken off. The best thing about this solution is it’s completely passive - i.e. nothing to lock or unlock.
Note - The column lock will fit all Defenders LHD or RHD - up to 2014, including Puma/Tdci. One exception is that some ex-military vehicles do not have a steering lock. While the column lock will fit - it serves no purpose as there is nothing for it to protect.

X-Defend Pedal Lock (DA6601)
The X-Defend Pedal Lock prevents the clutch, brake and throttle pedal from being operated, making a vehicle almost impossible to drive! Unlike other pedal locks, this remains bolted to the floor of the vehicle. When not in use, it folds flat on the floor and seat box, forming the floor of the cab. In this position it can be covered with your usual floor mat. This means you don’t have to store a 20kg lump of metal which could be lethal if it hit you in the event of an accident or while off-roading. It also means that locking is incredibly quick. Just release the catch which holds it against the seat box and lock into position. A 10mm thick steel claw grabs the brake pedal shaft and ratchets in tight against it. It can be locked in a couple of seconds! To unlock turn the key which releases the pedal and fold flat on the floor. The Pedal Lock is supplied in tough, corrosion proof 304 stainless steel and uses formed hinges with a 6mm stainless pin. It is supplied with an anti-drill, British made Lowe & Fletcher RPT Lock.
Notes
This does NOT fit Series/Defender - 2007 - 2016. As not all Defenders are the same and build tolerances are at best acceptable it may be necessary to either relocate the bonnet pull bracket (you can drill out the spot welds and re-attach with pop rivets) or better still replace with the later Td5 type bonnet pull (FSC000050PMA). We have discovered that because Land Rover had no set place to fit the early type bracket it sometimes fouls the pedal lock.X-Defend Pedal Lock (DA6602)

The slimline boss is just 42mm in depth, meaning it is only 10mm thicker than our original slimline boss.
The boss is designed to fit Momo steering wheels or wheels with 6 holes on a 70mm PCD. Momo horn button will no longer be able to be used as the boss is so slim, therefore an Optimal cap is supplied along with screws and pins for installation.
Note - This boss has 2 locking pins which are used to separate the boss. These must NEVER be pulled open whilst driving. This is designed as a removable product and it is the drivers responsibility to ensure it is fitted correctly and in full working order before attempting to drive the vehicle.
Note - Optimal steering bosses DA8880/1/2/3 don’t fit Mountney steering wheels DA4650 & DA4654.
