50A Traction Control Battery Charger (DA1864)

The new MPL50 charger from Traction Chargers has been designed with the latest JLR workshop standards in mind. Suitable for most common battery types Ca/Ca, Ca/Ag, AGM, GEL and conventional lead acid. The MPL50 features Traction's patented de-sulphation technology ensuring the battery is in peak condition before commencing charge. As with all Traction Battery Chargers the MPL50 is manufactured at our own UK site. The rectified DC output of the MPL50 achieves significantly higher standard of charge than its switched mode competitors.

BSU2-125B provides a stable voltage and up to 50 amps of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery. BSU2-125B can be used with any 12V automotive battery including AGM and GEL. When the battery is charged the BSU is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain. Designed for use in the workshop and compatible with most diagnostic trolleys. Reverse polarity protection. Output current display. Supplied with 5M IEC power lead and 5M output leads.
- BSU2-125B provides a constant voltage to prevent loss of data and possible damage to control units during software updates, and module reprogramming as well as diagnostic processes when in a Key On, Engine Off state.
- During diagnostic or programming operations, the vehicle's systems are operating solely from the battery. Maintaining battery charge during this process is critical.
- The status of BSU2-125B is indicated simply by three LED's POWER, POLARITY, DEMAND. When all 3 are illuminated, BSU2-125B is supporting the battery.
- Designed to be wall, ramp or trolley mounted the BSU2-125B has been designed to meet the needs of the high power consuming vehicle.
- Approved by Jaguar & Land Rover.
